As a senior member of the Human resources team, you have been asked to give a presentation on the state of the union to the board of directors. The presentation must include past, present, and future legal issues.

1) Summary of current and future trends for statutory, regulatory, and common law requirments of confidentiality in the health care industry.

2) Current and future legal and ethical obligations relating to the documentation, retention, storage, and use of medical records.

The third assignment consists of writing a short paper on a human resources management topic. Use business periodicals to identify a human resources topic. You are required to use at least five references in the development of this three-to-five page paper. All formal writing rules apply. Do not write from the first or second person perspectives. Use APA style guidelines.

The format must adhere to the following example: -Introduction (brief paragraph) -Description of topic (one page is appropriate) -Implications for management (how is this topic important to HR management) -Ethics (identify ethical issues related to the topic. Discuss how managers might overcome ethical dilemmas). -Conclusion (brief paragraph) -References (in addition to minimum three-page limit).
